Masonry restoration to NCDOT Traffic Services division 10 building. Removal of existing window units above high low roof, waterproofing of jamb and sills, installation of temp protection, new sill pan, hat channels and metal panels.

The scope consisted of cleaning utilizing pressurized spray bottles and natural bristle brushes, followed by protecting utilizing paint. 

Façade restoration to a leaking north building elevation consisting of window sealant replacement, EIFS/brick expansion joint replacement, selective pointing of brick masonry joints, coating EIFS and parapet walls with two coats high performance protective paint, and water repellent on brick masonry wall surfaces.

Scope of work included patching form plug holes, crack treatment, spall repairs, applying a migratory corrosion inhibitor, cementitious leveling coat to an exposed aggregate concrete finish and applying an acrylic elastomeric coating for color uniformity. Fenestration protection was provided using light gauge metal studs and insulation boards to remove and replace approximately 35 large aluminum storefront window units.

Scope of work included façade repairs to a low-rise office building comprised of precast sealant replacement, window wet glazing, minor spall repairs, pressure cleaning followed by the application of an acrylic elastomeric protective paint. Upper-level work access was accomplished via use of swing stages. 

Scope of work included façade repairs to a leaking Exterior Insulated Finish System (EIFS) East and North building elevations consisting of curtainwall window wet glazing, 

EIFS sealant joints replacement and pressure cleaning followed by the application of a high performance acrylic elastomeric protective paint. Upper-level work access 

accomplished via use of swing stages. 

WxP worked in conjunction with an engineering firm to help facilitate the repairs. WxP protected the interior finishes of the units, provided demolition of the drywall ceilings in order to access the floor truss repairs, shoring & jack trusses exhibiting deflection.

Masonry repairs to a high-rise condominium building in downtown metropolitan utilizing swing stages and overhead protection. Repairs included inducing through wall flashing at balcony level masonry curbs and window heads. 

Façade reconstruction scope of work included removal/replacement of brick/stucco cladding; removal and reinstallation of Juliet balcony doors and windows in stucco; interior protection and finish repairs; framing repairs to substrate exhibiting water damage and substandard construction practices; and new flashings and weather resistant barrier (WRB). Upper-level access accomplished via use of fixed scaffolding.
